Natasha's Routine for Hormonal Breakouts card: QBalance, Q Detox, Gut Restore and Revive

My Routine for Hormonal Breakouts

Breakouts that come and go with your cycle are so common, from the teenage years right through to perimenopause. Skin is often the messenger: hormones, how the liver is processing them, gut health and stress all show up on our face. That's why I like to support all four together rather than only treating the skin on the surface.

My routine

Morning: QBalance (10 drops) + Q Detox (10 drops) + Gut Restore (10 drops)
Afternoon: QBalance (10 drops) + Revive Drops (10 drops)
Evening: QBalance (10 drops) + Q Detox (10 drops) + Gut Restore (10 drops)

For teenagers, use 3 to 5 drops. Drops can go straight in the mouth or into a water bottle to sip through the day.

Why these four

QBalance, three times a day. My newest remedy, for hormonal harmony at every stage. Women's herbs like Chaste Tree are traditionally used to support a balanced cycle, alongside liver herbs that help the body process hormones.

Q Detox, morning and evening. Burdock, Yellow Dock and Albizzia are classic skin herbs, traditionally used to support the liver and clearer skin from the inside.

Gut Restore, morning and evening. A healthy balance of gut flora is a big part of healthy skin, especially after antibiotics or when the gut has been out of balance.

Revive Drops, in the afternoon. Stress hormones can make breakouts worse, so I like to support the nervous system too.

My extra tips

  • A gentle cleanser morning and night, and hands off: no picking or squeezing.
  • Change your pillowcase often.
  • Plenty of water, and go easy on sugar and highly processed foods.
  • Track your cycle so you can see when breakouts tend to appear.
  • Give it time. Skin takes around a month to renew, so stick with the routine for at least one to two cycles.

QBalance is not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're taking medication, including hormonal contraception or HRT, check with your healthcare professional before use. This routine is general information based on my experience in clinic and isn't a substitute for personal medical advice. If breakouts are severe, painful or scarring, please see your doctor.
