My Menopause Routine
Share
Perimenopause and menopause can turn life upside down. Hot flushes that arrive at the worst moments, nights spent wide awake, feeling flat or snappy, and energy that just isn't what it used to be. So many women tell me they don't feel like themselves. This is the routine I suggest to help you through this stage with a little more ease.
My routine
Morning: QBalance (10 drops) + Revive Drops (10 drops)
Afternoon: QBalance (10 drops) + Revive Drops (10 drops)
Evening: QBalance (10 drops)
Hot flushes: Feva Ease (10 drops) as needed
Bedtime: Sleepytime (10 drops)
Drops can go straight in the mouth or into a water bottle to sip through the day. I suggest keeping Feva Ease in your handbag and by the bed.
Why these four
QBalance, three times a day. My newest remedy, for hormonal harmony at every stage. Black Cohosh, Dong Quai and Wild Yam are traditionally used to support women through the hormonal changes of perimenopause and menopause, alongside calming herbs for the emotional ups and downs.
Revive Drops, morning and afternoon. For energy and resilience. Adaptogens like Rhodiola and Withania support the body through stress and fatigue, which so often come with this stage of life.
Feva Ease, as needed. For those moments when the heat rises. I suggest taking it at the first sign of a hot flush, day or night.
Sleepytime, at bedtime. Broken sleep is one of the hardest parts of menopause. Sleepytime helps you switch off and settle back to sleep more easily.
My extra tips
- Dress in layers and keep the bedroom cool, with a fan by the bed.
- Notice your flush triggers. Caffeine, alcohol, spicy food and stress are common ones.
- Strength-based exercise a few times a week to support bones, muscles and mood.
- Include foods like flaxseeds, legumes and leafy greens.
- Talk about it. Friends, family and other women going through the same thing can make a big difference.
