GLP1 Support

For people on GLP-1 medication

Your gut is running on GLP-1 time now.

GLP-1 medications work partly by slowing how fast your stomach empties, which is why nausea, bloating, constipation and low energy can show up. QLife's naturopathic drops are formulated to gently support each stage of that slower pace.

The mechanism

Why "slower" feels so uncomfortable

GLP-1 medications work in part by delaying gastric emptying. Food sits in your stomach longer than it used to, which is part of what curbs appetite.

That same delay is behind many of the side effects people report: nausea that can linger for hours, bloating and trapped wind as food sits, reflux and heartburn as pressure builds, and constipation as the whole system slows. Eating less on top of all that often leaves people running on empty, and fatigue is one of the most common complaints that doesn't get talked about.

None of that means something's wrong. It means digestion, and the energy that runs on it, are moving at a different pace than they used to. Support for each stage helps more than treating it as one problem.

Four formulas, one for each stage of the timeline

All four are naturopathic homeobotanical drops from the QLife range, matched here to what adults on GLP-1 medication commonly experience.

Q Life Queeze Ease bottle

Ginger and peppermint are traditionally used to settle the stomach; gentian and globe artichoke are bitter digestives traditionally used to support a sluggish stomach.

Using them well

Start low, go slow, same as your GLP-1 dose

You're already titrating one medication carefully. These drops work the same way: begin gently, adjust to what your body needs, and taper down once things settle.

01
Start with the smaller dose
Adult guidance is 10 drops, up to 6 times daily as needed. Begin at the low end and see how you respond.
02
Take it however's easiest
Straight in the mouth, in a glass of water to sip, or added to food. Useful on days when swallowing anything feels unappealing.
03
Adjust as your dose changes
Side effects are often strongest right after a dose increase. Lean on the drops more in those first weeks, and less as your gut adjusts.
04
Taper down, not off a cliff
Once symptoms ease, reduce gradually rather than stopping all at once, the same approach naturopaths use for any homeobotanical support.

Questions people ask us

Is this safe to take alongside my GLP-1 medication?
Each 5 drops contains just 0.005 g fresh herb equivalent, so interactions with medications are very unlikely. Even so, talk to your prescriber or pharmacist before adding any natural remedy while on GLP-1 medication, especially if you're on other medications too. These formulas weren't developed or tested specifically for use with GLP-1 medications.
What's actually in them?
100% natural homeobotanical herbal extracts, made in New Zealand and gluten free. Full ingredient lists are on each product page.
How will I use them?
Most people use these as needed, symptom by symptom, rather than on a fixed schedule, taking them when discomfort shows up.
Are these made for adults?
The formulas are the same ones used across the QLife range for all ages, with adult dosing on the label. They weren't developed specifically for GLP-1 side effects, but the herbs' traditional uses map closely onto the digestive changes many people experience.
Do I need all four, or just one?
Most people don't need all four. Start with whichever symptom is most noticeable, usually Queeze Ease for nausea or Grizzly Guts for bloating and reflux, and add Intesto Ease or Revive later if constipation or fatigue show up as your dose increases.
This information is general in nature and isn't a substitute for advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Always read the label and use as directed. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional. Check with your prescriber before combining any natural remedy with prescription medication.
